• Heavy-duty Truck/Diesel Mechanic

• Small Engine Mechanic

Duties:

Heavy Duty Truck/Diesel Mechanic, Perform FHWA Inspections and PM Services. Perform repairs on all makes and all models of trucks on a daily basis. From general maintenance, PM service, Annual inspections, AC work, diagnosis suspension issues, and engine issues. R&R clutches.

Small Engine/Automotive Mechanic, PM services, diagnosis brakes, suspension problems, running issues, and R&R engine and transmissions.

Perform visual inspection of components in question and thoroughly assess the situation in order to provide an accurate repair path to complete all jobs efficiently in a timely manner. Perform repairs as outlined on RO within specified time frame with all parts documented and accounted for accordingly. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by cleaning bay after all repairs are complete, properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping floors, and removing trash on a daily basis. Provide company standards for labor time and quality of repairs.

Qualifications:

Dependability, have a great work ethic, willing to learn, and a clean driving record. Must have at least 1-3 years' experience. Must have basic hand and air tools. Physical work; body positions: standing for long periods of time, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and lifting safely. Position is open to experienced technicians or Entry level candidates. Will train the right candidate. State Inspector licenses is a plus Valid CDL a plus

Ability to work independently with minimum direction as well as in a team environment. Ability to understand directions and follow standard operating procedures. Assist technicians with body repairs, grinding, stock orders, and more. Perform visual inspection of components in question and thoroughly assess the situation in order to provide an accurate repair path to complete all jobs efficiently in a timely manner. Perform repairs as outlined on RO within specified time frame with all parts documented and accounted for accordingly. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by cleaning bay after all repairs are complete, properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping floors, and removing trash on a daily basis. Assist co-workers on daily assignments as needed. Provide company standards for labor time and quality of repairs. Great work ethic.
